After parting ways with Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern Munich is close to say goodbye to another important part of their team.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Arturo Vidal is still on the list of Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri wanted to sign the Chilean midfielder in the summer, but negotiations have failed because Carlo Ancelotti insisted that the 30-year-old should remain at the team.

However now, after Ancelotti left the club, a possible return of Vidal in Serie A is again on the table. Inter are closely monitoring the situation of Vidal who, according to the source, has never been this close to a departure from the German champions.

Besides the departure of Ancelotti, another reason for Vidal to leave the club is his contractual situation. His current deal is set to expire in 2019 and no negotiations have been carried out yet. Therefore, Inter could submit a bid on January for the player. Reports suggest that the Italians will be looking to loan the player until the end of the season, when they will have an obligation to buy.

Vidal is the type of player that Luciano Spalletti is missing in his team now, to reinforce the midfield line of Inter. In addition to his qualities, Vidal knows Serie A very well from his time spent with Juventus, when he won the Italian title four times in a row, in the period 2012-2015. Vidal played 124 matches in Serie A for Juventus, scoring 35 goals.
