Florentino Perez is looking to bring reinforcements to Santiago Bernabeu and Real’s president has set his sights on Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.

According to Don Balon, Perez is unhappy with his team’s attacking performances and is looking to bring in a player that can score goals. For this reason, he wants to offer Zinedine Zidane a player that has already proved he is a goalscorer: Mohamed Salah.

Florentino Perez has even conceived a plan for the transfer of Salah. Real Madrid are ready to allow Lucas Vazquez to move to Anfield, in a bid to sweeten the deal for Liverpool. Salah has become a vital part of Jurgen Klopp’s plans at Liverpool since his arrival in the summer. The Egyptian winger scored 19 goals and provided six assists in 24 matches this season.

On the other hand, Lucas Vazquez failed to impress Zinedine Zidane at Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish winger had his chances in the absence of Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo in the beginning of the season, but Zidane doesn’t seem convinced that Vazquez can help the team reach its objectives.

The common understanding at Real Madrid is that it would be better for Lucas Vazquez to leave the club and try to grow as a footballer somewhere else. In fact, he has recently been considered a bargaining chip in negotiations to bring more valuable players to Santiago Bernabeu. Furthermore, AS Roma are reportedly interested in the forward, with the Giallorossi’s new sports director, Monchi, a keen admirer of Vazquez, who he knows well from his time with Sevilla. Roma would be interested in a loan in January with a possible purchase option at the end of the season.
