Pastore excited about PSG encounter against Marseille

Javier Pastore is very excited about Paris Saint-Germain’s upcoming Ligue 1 fixture against Marseille this Sunday and call’s the fixture “really special”

PSG head into Sunday’s match against third-placed Marseille at the Parc des Princes stadium with a 12 point lead over last season’s league champions AS Monaco at the top of the standings. Marseille lie just a further point behind Monaco and will be keen to beat PSG to maintain their slim title hopes.

Pastore, speaking to PSG TV, spoke with much enthusiasm in regards to the game against Marseille. The Argentine believes everything changes in the build up to the game and is looking forward to it.

“It’s a Classico, a special match different to the others,” said Pastore, according to the club website.

“We play every match to win, but this one is really special. The atmosphere is different. In the days leading up to the match, there are more and more fans at the Ooredoo Training Centre, in the streets before the Parc des Princes… We will do everything to try and win this match. The atmosphere will be fantastic at the Parc des Princes._ We can’t wait for the game.”

The two sides will again meet three days later at the Parc des Princes stadium for the quarter-final of the French Cup.
