Considering rumours regarding Conte’s relationship with Chelsea’s management and the team’s inconsistency, the manager could easily be sacked, but according to him, the weak season isn’t only his fault.
Ahead of games with Leicester in the FA Cup and with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, Conte shared that the team has to receive the flak as a whole, not as separate people.
“Like last season when we won the title and reached the final of the FA Cup, it’s always the same,” Conte shared, according to SkySports.
“We must be ready to share the responsibility with the club, the players and with me and my staff. This must be very clear,” the coach added.
The fact that Barca eliminated Chelsea from the Champions League on Wednesday means their only hope for silverware this season is the FA Cup. However, they are still decisive about finishing in the top four of the Premier League teams.
