England have got high hopes ahead of their opening game in the World Cup and Harry Kane’s performances are going to be crucial for them – and Timo Werner believes that this player can decide any of the games.

The Germany attacker claimed that he has got high respect for the Tottenham striker and he believes that England have got a very strong team that have improved defensively under Gareth Southgate as well.

The RB Leipzig player spoke about the qualities of Albion as he said, according to bundesliga.com:

“[They have] a great striker in Harry Kane, who can always make the difference.”

“And under Gareth Southgate, they’ve also strengthened defensively, which we noticed in the 0-0 in Wembley (in November 2017). Even if they have landed in a nicer group, I trust them a lot, they should start with a bang.”

“We have a good mix [and] we still have a level where we can win a tournament; we’re favourites.”
