Alex Meret, Napoli’s most recent arrival has suffered a broken arm in training just after days of joining the club.
It’s been just six days since Napoli announced the signing of the goalkeeper Meret who joined Napoli for a reported fee of €22million from Udinese and was expected to instantly become the first choice following the departure of Pepe Reina to AC Milan.

However, that dream of becoming the first option has been quashed as the 21-year-old, who was restricted to just 13 Serie A appearances on loan at SPAL last season due to injuries, has endured a bad start to life in Naples with an injury.
Meret was reportedly involved in a collision during training on Wednesday and has suffered a fracture to the ulna bone in his left arm due to the collision.
Although it is unclear whether or not he will be fit to kick off, time will tell.
