In 2015 the South Koreans reached the Asian Cup Final and were beaten by Australia after overtime. This time they are ready to challenge the Socceroos for their third title.

South Korea had their best AFC Asian Cup run in 1956 and 1960 when they won the competition back-to-back.

But those editions were played between four teams only.

In the last edition in 2015, the South Koreans reached the final against Australia but were beaten 2-1 in overtime by the Socceroos.

Now they are ready to challenge for the title after winning the 2018 Asian Games.

South Korea is playing the tournament for the 14th time, having missed only two editions.

They will take part in Group C, together with China, Kyrgyzstan, and the Philippines.

China is not strange to the competition, having played it in 12 occasions out of 16 editions. The Chinese were runner-ups in 1984 and 2004.

Meanwhile, this is the first time Kyrgyzstan and Philippines play in the tournament, after winning their Third Round qualifying groups.

Who will qualify to the next round out of this group?
