The Red Devils secured an important 2-0 victory over Manchester City and are three point away from securing Champions League participation next year.

After the start Manchester United had, anything positive to come out from the 2019/20 season was unthinkable. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has steadied the ship and United are battling to secure Champions League qualification.

The Red Devils 2-0 win over crosstown rivals, Manchester City, proves they can get over the line. Anthony Martial gave them the much-needed opening goal, while the returning Scott McTominay got them over the line.

While City were made to rue their missed chances, it was a great day for United fans. Lady luck smiled on them and more is coming their way.

The Old Trafford based club are three points adrift of Chelsea in fourth place and can secure Champions League qualification if their run of form continues.
