The difference between the Championship and the Premier League is huge.
However, that isn’t just down to the quality that we see on a weekly basis, but also because of the intensity in the action and the tactical awareness that managers in the dugout must have.
Down the years there have been various examples of strikers that have flourished in the second division, but when given the chance they have faltered when making the transition into the Premier League.
Two players this season who were questioned whether they would fall under this bracket were Teemu Pukki and Tammy Abraham, but both of these strikers have made the transition effortlessly.
The latter of which has helped his side become one of the leaders in the race for the top four. Pukki, however, seems to have his spotlight obfuscated with the recent Norwich performances, after being named Premier League player of August.
However, not all players have flourished to the same extent.
