Liverpool inch closer to end their title drought while Chelsea put more distance between themselves and the Champions League chasing pack.
Premier League returned to much applause. Round 29 fixtures were completed in swift fashion and Round 30 concluded in similar vein. Since Wednesday, June 17, the league has continued where it left at the tail end of February.
With every team playing a match at least, there is plenty to learn from the league’s resumption. There was action at every end of the points table and plenty to observe.
Liverpool remain in driving seat while Chelsea hold off competition for Champions League berths. At the other end of the table, the competition remains stiff for English top flight stay.
