Ends Monaco’s title drought
While Kylian Mbappe couldn’t lead Monaco to a historic Champions League title, he did lead them to their first Ligue 1 title since 2000.
Leonardo Jardim’s side secured an incredible 95 points by winning 30 of their 38 games that season. Not even the big-spending Paris Saint-Germain could keep up a further eight points back.
And a large part of Monaco’s success came down to the stunning performances of a young Mbappe.
The teenage forward came alive in the second half to bring home 15 goals and 11 assists in 29 appearances.
