Youngest top 10 Ballon d’Or finisher
Mbappe’s incredible performances in the World Cup cemented his reputation as one of the best players around.
But he was already on everybody’s radar in 2017 following his breakthrough campaign with Monaco.
And to everyone’s surprise, the teenager became the youngest top 10 Ballon d’Or finisher with a solid seventh-place in the voting poll. He narrowly missed out on a top-three spot in 2018 and settled for sixth this year.
