A little bit of fun at Inter Milan’s expense – perhaps they need a new badge or even a new name after signing three United players already this season.
Inter Milan are catching a little stick after signing Ashley Young from Manchester United.
Young became the third United player this season to join Antonio Conte’s revolution at the San Siro.
First, there was Romelu Lukaku, who was the Nerazzurri’s big-money signing during the summer.
Then as deadline day approached, Alexis Sanchez joined them on loan for the rest of the season.
There are also rumors of interest in United academy prospect Tahith Chong.
So it has been suggested that a possible change of name. Inter could quite simply adopt the last name United rather than Milan.
The concern is that there would be a significant loss of identity.
So a simple compromise. No change of name. But a new badge.
Keeping the glorious name of Inter Milan, but still pays homage to their feeder club.
