The Rossoneri presented their new Italian Lega Serie A signing today as executive chairman Paolo Scaroni explained what this means to the team.
Youngster Lucas Paqueta was presented today with Italian Lega Serie A club AC Milan.
And the Brazilian was welcomed by executive chairman Paolo Scaroni.
“It’s an important day for us, as we present an important player,” Scaroni told the club’s official website.
“Finally, Lucas Paquetá is part of the AC Milan family.”
“This signing confirms Elliott’s desire to bring the club back to the top, where they should be,” he commented.
“He is the 35th Brazilian in the Rossoneri’s history and Leonardo discovered him, as he’s also done with many other top Brazilians in the past.”
“This is a deal that falls under the Financial Fair Play rules – something that still remains our North Star,” Scaroni explained.
“Elliott’s project is long-term and we’re not setting ourselves any great limits. Paquetá is 21 and represents a young investment for AC Milan’s future.”
