AC Milan make move for Dani Ceballos

Dani Ceballos has no future at Real Madrid and AC Milan are willing to give the youngster a chance to make his career at San Siro.

Real Madrid and AC Milan are currently negotiating a deal that would see Dani Ceballos swap Santiago Bernebeu for San Siro according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Pretty soon an Under-21 European champions could sign for AC Milan. The negotiations between Madrid and Milan for Dani Ceballos are set to offer fresh developments. The youngster does not want to leave Madrid permanently and has therefore requested the club to loan him out instead.

Milan on the other hand, are looking to loan the youngster with an option to buy by the end of next season. A fee in the region of 45 million Euros is being considered sufficient for this to happen.

Moreover, the Rossoneri are willing to offer Dani Ceballos 4 million Euros per year that would make him the club’s second highest paid player after Donnarumma.

Real Madrid are keen on selling the youngster. Ceballos has already said that he would like to play in a team that allows him sufficient game time. And Milan are eager to provide the Spanish midfielder a great platform to resurrect a career that may stall under Zinedine Zidane.

However, the Italian Serie A giants have to move quickly since the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal are also interested in signing the player.

Last week, technical director, Paolo Maldini had travelled to Spain in order to discuss a move for Ceballos. The youngster’s career at Madrid is not going anywhere as long as Zinedine Zidane remains in charge. And Milan are eager to give the youngster a platform to rebuild his career.

However, it should be kept in mind that Milan cannot offer the player European football after the club decided to sit out of next season’s Europa League in a bid to balance the books.
