Ivorian international Seydou Doumbia has left Girona without a club to go to after only one year playing with the Spaniards.
Ivory Coast international forward Seydou Doumbia has played all around the world.
From Kashiwa Reysol in Japan to CSKA Moscow in Russia, and even at Roma in the Italian Lega Serie A.
But his latest adventure was with Girona in 2018, where he tried to help the team avoid relegation to Segunda Division, but he was not successful.
Now he has left the team, without any club in the horizon to go to.
“Dear followers, by mutual agreement we ended our collaboration between Girona and myself,” he wrote on Instagram according to Goal.
“I wish for this purpose all the best for this team (staff leaders, players, and supporters).”
“I would like to turn now to new challenges because the passion that animates me remains intact. I love playing football, I love to play, and I love to score,” he added.
“These skills make a footballer a winner and allow with experience gained, to win teams.”
“I will continue to train in the best way to be operational immediately. So I hope to be back quickly on the green rectangle, and especially ready to score again and again. Have a good day!” he commented.
