Football agent Federico Pastorello has intensified transfer speculation surrounding the future of Wilfried Zaha after recent “new challenge” comments.
Moves to both Arsenal and Everton failed to materialize after offers failed to meet Crystal Palace’s valuation.
Now with the winter transfer window approaching, and Zaha showing fine form again this season, he is expected to be a sought after commodity.
Palace fought hard to hold on to their star and will be hoping to at least keep the Ivory Coast international at least until the end of the season.
However, comments like those from the agent that orchestrated Romelu Lukau’s move to Inter and is trying to drum up business for want away Napoli star Dries Mertens will not be welcomed.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Pastorello believes it is only right that Zaha gets a chance at a big club.
“I also think about is Wilfried Zaha.”
” I think he really deserves a new challenge and a top club because he is really a top player.”
“It is surprising me because I read about a possible move in the summer but he stayed again.”
“But this season he is proving that he is very focused and concentrated.”
“So think he could be another good opportunity in the January market.”
It’s worth remembering Zaha had one shot at the top and failed miserably during his time at Manchester United.
But they are apparently considering buying him back given his development since he left.
