Franck Kessié is one of the “untouchables” at AC Milan and will not be going anywhere right now, says his agent
The 21-year-old midfielder signed for the Rossoneri last year from fellow Serie A side Atalanta.
But Kessié has recently been linked with a departure from the San Siro amid an alleged row between manager Gennaro Gattuso and new sporting director Leonardo.
Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the Ivory Coast international.
“We’re only on the ninth day of the league season and I don’t know why we’re talking about the transfer market already,” Agent George Atangana told Calcio Mercato.
“Franck is in his second year at Milan, where he didn’t arrive by chance, and he’s gradually completing his maturation process at a high level.
“I have read about possible ruptures between Leonardo and Gattuso, with Kessié at the centre, I’m not aware of that dynamic.
“I have a good, established relationship with the club, and I’m sure if Milan wanted to sell Kessié I’d be the first to know.
“On the contrary, in recent conversations, I’ve learned that Franck is one of Milan’s untouchables.
“Of course in modern football no player is unsellable – Cristiano Ronaldo went from Real Madrid to Juventus, after one year [Leonardo] Bonucci went back to Turin and [Gonzalo] Higuain went the other way.
“But I want to reiterate that Franck wants to continue his experience in a Milan shirt.”
Kessié has managed seven goals and assists in 63 appearances across all competitions for Milan.
The Italian club have him under contract until June 2022.
