Aguero – concern, and fear about returning to football

Sergio Aguero has spoken out about the fear and concern football players are facing as the Premier League pushes for training and games to resume.

Manchester City and Argentina striker Sergio Aguero has spoken about what he and his fellow professionals are facing if and when football resumes.

The record-breaking goal scorer admits even though he has adhered to all the social distancing an isolation protocols he himself has some reservations.

Speaking to Daily Mail, he insists that his colleagues fear for the health and safety of their families too, especially those who have young children.

He said:

“The majority of players are scared because they have a family; they have children, they have babies, parents.”

“When we go back, I imagine that we will be very tense, we will be very careful.”

“Then the moment someone feels ill, you will think. what’s gone on there?”

“I hope there is a vaccine so all this ends.”

“They say that there are people who have it but who don’t have symptoms and they can infect you.”

“That’s why I’ve stayed at home. You can be infected, and you don’t know anything about it.”

“It does scare me, but I have just been here with my girlfriend. I haven’t had contact with other people.”

Aguero has been working hard to stay in shape while on lockdown and has been a great example to his fans and fellow professionals.

It’s easy to see why the Argentine international and Manchester City all-time leading goal scorer si such a positive influence in the Premier League.
