Ajax have agreed a deal with Manchester United for Daley Blind, according to BBC.
Ajax have agreed a deal believed to be around £18.5million to sign Netherlands international Daley Blind from Manchester United.
Blind left Ajax in 2014 after starring for the Netherlands at the World Cup in Brazil to sign for Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United.
The versatile player who can play in defence and across the midfield move to Old Trafford that summer for a fee of around £14million.
Blind, 28, became a regular at United under the tutelage of Van Gaal and also featured in the Dutch man’s final game as manager at the club in a 2-1 FA Cup final win over Crystal Palace back in 2016.
The defender has seen his playing chances reduced since Jose Mourinho became manager at Old Trafford but he did feature in the 2017 Europa League final in Sweden against Ajax.
He struggled with injuries last season which led to him making only a handful appearances for the club.
It is understood that Ajax will pay an initial fee of £14million to bring Blind back to the Johan Cruyff Arena with an extra £4.5million expected to come in add-ons.
