Given how complicated the negotiations for Neymar have gotten, Al-Khelaifi is under the impression that this is Barcelona’s fault.
There is no other way to say this, Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s relationship with FC Barcelona is completely broken thanks to Neymar.
The Brazilian player recently confirmed that he wants to leave the French club and this prompted a falling out between both clubs.
Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is very paranoid thanks to FC Barcelona, he should’ve thought about that before he decided to take Neymar from the Catalan club.
There is good evidence to assume he did this just to anger the Spanish giants, he did it because they came after many of his players in recent years.
The first one they attempted to seduce was Thiago Silva, then they did the same with Marquinhos, Marco Verratti, Adrien Rabiot, and Angel Di Maria.
None of these attempts were successful for the Catalan club, Al-Khelaifi didn’t even entertain the idea to negotiate with them.
The man’s plan is to someday be able to say that his squad won the Champions League, which is impossible if he keeps selling his best players to bigger clubs.
This is the reason he decided to not let any of his best players leave, he imprisons then in a golden jail with all the luxuries they can imagine.
But many of these players are not happy with the life they lead in Paris.

Adrien Rabiot is the perfect example of a player who was frustrated with the club, he even accepted to not play for nearly a full season with the ultimate goal to leave.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s response to Rabiot’s desire to leave was as expected, he punished him by not letting him play a single minute.
The player’s response was to simply wait for his contract to expire and not leave a single euro in Paris Saint-Germain’s accounts, this truly hurt Al-Khelaifi’s pride.
All the other cases were different, the chairman threatened all the other players with the same punishment and none of them agreed.
None of them liked that idea because they also wanted to play with their national teams, something that Rabiot didn’t care too much about.
The French midfielder missed the World Cup back in 2018 because if this, and he held a grudge against the club for a long time.
Neymar obviously doesn’t want to go through the same hell that Rabiot did, which is why he is doing everything in his power to do things very carefully.
Rather than rebelling like his former teammate, the Brazilian agreed to practice with the rest of the squad and even travel with them to the Asian tour.
However, Nasser Al-Khelaifi isn’t sold on this good attitude.

Neymar still wants to leave at any cost.
Reports from the Catalan press started pouring in last Tuesday night, Neymar is determined to leave PSG regardless of where he goes.
Mundo Deportivo reported that the Brazilian player is very aware of his complicated situation and Barcelona’s lack of money to sign him.
This pushed the player to put himself on the market for the highest bidder, his wish to leave is too high.
Apparently, the player realized what a mistake he made by signing his contract with PSG and not knowing about Al-Khelaifi’s tyranny towards players.
This revelation gave Neymar the drive to ask his father to start offering him to the best clubs in the world.
The candidates that could take him are Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and even Real Madrid.
The player wants to play in Barcelona again, but he frankly doesn’t care if a deal doesn’t come.
All Neymar cares about at this point is leaving Paris. This whole situation made Nasser Al-Khelaifi believe that the Catalan club is the one who convinced Neymar to leave the institution.
At this moment, the relationship between both clubs is completely broken and they will be difficult to repair.
Can’t wait to be back in my new @nikefootball Vapors.
