Valencia sporting director Mateu Alemany has confirmed that Michy Batshuayi will return to Chelsea this month

The Belgian striker has struggled to make an impact in his loan stint at Mestalla after scoring just a single goal in 15 La Liga appearances.

Now Alemany confirmed Batshuayi’s loan deal will be cut short and expects him to leave for Stamford Bridge soon.

“Batshuayi’s situation is very clear. We are negotiating the player’s exit with various other clubs,” Alemany told Marca.

Lukaku opens up on choosing Man United over Chelsea

Romelu Lukaku has opened up on the story behind his decision to sign for Manchester United instead of rejoining Chelsea in 2017.

“I expect he will leave in the coming hours or days. The player knows he is leaving, we told him some weeks ago.

“We hope that, for his sake, this can be resolved as soon as possible. He is leaving and it’s now a matter of negotiation.”

This may open the door for Alvaro Morata to complete his loan move to La Liga side Sevilla with Gonzalo Higuain also allegedly on the verge of completing a move to Chelsea.
