Liverpool will be aiming to win all of their remaining nine matches when the Premier League season returns, asserts Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool ultimately failed to maintain their own lofty standards when they they were paid a visit by Watford in the final week of February.

The humiliating 3-0 defeat also brought an end to their impressive unbeaten steak and, consequently, their hopes of emulating the Arsenal ‘invincible’ season.

However, that is hardly a matter of concern for Jurgen Klopp’s men who are on the course to lift their first Premier League title in 30 years.

Only two more wins from the remaining nine matches, or just one if Manchester City suffer a loss against Arsenal, will be enough for them to become the champions of England for the 18th time.

But Alexander-Arnold insists his side will not be looking to merely get by, rather they will push to cross the 100-point barrier.

“We’re not training now just to hopefully cross the line,” Alexander-Arnold told Sky Sports. “But to win every game we’ve got left.

“We’ve got nine games and we want to win them all – that’s our aim.”
