Bayern Munich face an anxious wait for updates after an injured Alphonso Davies missed training on Wednesday.
Bayern Munich confirmed that Alphonso Davies missed training on Wednesday, just days before facing Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The 19-year-old withdrew because of an adductor problem. He didn’t take part in anything else in Lagos, Portugal, after citing discomfort with his thigh.
Bayern released a brief statement on their official Twitter account, confirming the news but insisting Davies’ absence was only a precautionary measure.

The Canadian left-back is expected to be passed fit for Bayern’s quarter-clash against Barcelona on Friday night in Lisbon.
No further problems have been reported in Lagos as the Bavarians seek to build on their demolition of Chelsea last weekend by handing Barcelona a similar fate.
Their upcoming meeting with the Blaugrana is perhaps the most anticipated fixture of them all. In fact, the winner of the tie could proceed to win the Champions League itself.
Most eyes, though, will be on the personal battle between Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi.
