Another two teams who are unlikely to feature in many top lists are San Marino and Scotland.

This game, though, has gained a level of intrigue given Scotland’s result earlier this week. Their 3-0 defeat to Kazakhstan was one of their worst in recent memory. Kazakhstan hadn’t won a home qualifier for eight years before this win.

Brazil win for the first time since July

Brazil secures their first win since lifting the Copa America in July.

Without Andy Robertson or Kieran Tierney, the Scots looked desperately short, which is worrying in itself given they’re both left backs.

Among the bookmakers, San Marino are the least likely to win a game during this international break. Scotland’s result in midweek will have given them hope of beating those odds.
