Amid transfer rumors, Bruno Fernandes praises English teams

The Sporting Lisbon star is rumored to be leaving his team this summer transfer window, and we might now know where he wants to land.

Sporting Lisbon footballer, Bruno Fernandes, has attracted the views of many of Europe’s top clubs.

The 24-year-old seems like a good prospect for most top-flight teams.

And amid speculation about his future, the player has said he admires English Premier League clubs.

“Pep Guardiola has made the best of the players in the team, he knew that it was going to be difficult in England and he adapted, City plays, more or less, in the way of Barcelona,” he told The First Half Report.

Dutch forward Robin van Persie explained why he left Arsenal for Manchester United seven years ago in the English Premier League.

“But not just because the championship is different, the intensity is different, the aggressiveness is different, the competition is different and he knew how to change it.”

“I like Liverpool a lot more, it’s a more direct (style of play), more offensive, maybe less organized,” he continued.

“But more intense football, when you do not have the ball possession, you are more intense.”

“In Liverpool they are more individual players, especially in the midfield, usually playing three very aggressive players and recovering the ball, then they have three players at the front who are lethal,” the player concluded.
