It’s not been a positive first season in England for Jorginho. Much was expected from the Italian midfielder and at first, things looked positive.

As Chelsea started the season on fire, he shone. As they have hit the buffers, though, so has his form. Teams have identified him as the weakness and targeted him.

Leicester prevails as Tottenham’s poor form continues

Leicester managed to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat against Tottenham. Tottenham's awful league form from the start of the season continues. Pochettino's men...

Most feel he now has to come out of the team for them to move forward. The first half of this game proved why that can’t happen.

Without Jorginho in midfield Chelsea lacked a man who could control the ball and push the team forward. They had plenty of possession but regularly failed to get out their own half.

Sarri came out after the game and said as much. Whatever the fans think, Jorginho remains key to this team.
