It’s time to talk about the upcoming month for FC Barcelona’s season, this will be the most challenging stage for the whole squad.

As the season progresses, FC Barcelona is about to enter the most challenging stage of this part of the season.

The Catalan club still hasn’t managed to leave the rest of La Liga teams too far behind.

They already secured the UEFA Champions League’s first place on their group, but they still have a big match before the year’s end.

When the season started, the Catalan club suffered from a painful victory on the first day of the competition.

That loss against Athletic Club Bilbao with an Aritz Aduriz overhead kick wasn’t the best omen for the rest of the tournament.

The squad also had both Leo Messi and Luis Suarez coming out of a long vacation and suffering an injury during the preseason.

There was major unrest from the fans after getting that painful elimination in the Champions League semifinal against Liverpool.

Things didn’t look well for Barcelona, but they somehow managed to return from the setback and get on top once again.

Ernesto Valverde’s squad has managed to gain back that confidence they lost last season, and also recover their best players.

All the hard work they’ve done so far was in order to be ready for this final part of 2019.

The calendar they have ahead of them for the next five matches is quite scary.

We will go through every challenge they have left until the start of 2020.

It all begins in Madrid.

With three squads still chasing after them at the top of La Liga’s table, Barcelona has quite the daunting month ahead.

Everything will start in the city of Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.

The result they get when they visit that venue will determine how well they will perform in the next few matches.

Although Diego Simeone’s players are not currently playing their most competitive football, they are only a victory away from the top.

Sunday will be perfect for the Colchoneros to claim a victory that will put them back in the race to win the title this season.

The problem is that FC Barcelona is coming to the Wanda filled with confidence after their most recent streak of victories.

The win they got at home against Borussia Dortmund was a confirmation of a squad that is finally starting to blend the new players with the rest of their teammates.

Ernesto Valverde found an ideal place for Frenkie de Jong, and it took him a while to accommodate Antoine Griezmann.

The French forward will have a very special Sunday as he visits his former club.

We are certain that the fans will greet him accordingly at the Metropolitano.

The match against Atletico is only the beginning of Barcelona.

All the roads lead to El Clasico.

After the Colchoneros, Barcelona will get a visit from Mallorca at Camp Nou Stadium.

The two following matches are very important for Valverde’s squad, as they visit two of the most difficult stadiums in the world.

First, they will play the last Champions League group match at Internazionale’s Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

They already have the first place secured, but they don’t want to offer a poor image when they visit Italy.

After that, Barcelona will play in a stadium they profoundly dread.

Real Sociedad’s Anoeta is a place where the Catalan club is known for losing several points in previous seasons.

If they lose this match before their next commitment, it could be a disaster for them.

We all know that everything is leading up to December 18. A postponed El Clasico will happen on that day at Camp Nou Stadium, and Barcelona is facing a very different Real Madrid.

Perhaps they would’ve won the game that was canceled due to the riots in the city, but Zidane turned things around for Los Blancos.

We are all hoping to get a thrilling football match, one that will be impossible to predict right now.

After that, Barcelona will need to finish on top if they want a shot at winning the title this season.

To finish off the year, they will play against Deportivo Alaves at Camp Nou on the last match they play in 2019.
