After 11 years at Manchester City, Vincent Kompany announced his departure from the club on Sunday.
Fresh from helping his side become the first male team in England to win the domestic treble, Kompany called time on his City career to head for pastures new.
He has elected to take the role of player/manager at former club Anderlecht, rather than heading somewhere else as just a player.
City must now turn their attention to finding a replacement. While Kompany has not played as key a role as he once did in recent years, he is still a big player to lose out of the squad.
