Arsenal took a huge step towards the Europa League semi-finals with an impressive 2-0 win over Napoli at the Emirates.

While Arsenal may be focused on trying to secure a top-four place in the Premier League this season, they still have the Europa League as a backup.

They ensured that remained the case on Thursday with a dominant home win over Serie A side Napoli.

As usual, the Premier League provided plenty of fascinating viewing this weekend with big games at both ends of the table.

Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring when he tapped home following a flowing Gunners move. Lucas Torreira doubled the lead not long afterward with a deflected effort.

An end to end game ensued in which both sides could have added to the scoreline. Neither did, though, with Arsenal delighted to keep a clean sheet alongside their victory. Here’s what we learned:
