Brazil secured a Copa America title on home soil courtesy of a 3-1 win over Peru in the final.

In a hotly anticipated affair, Brazil took the lead early on when Everton converted Gabriel Jesus’ cross.

Peru were level before the break, though, when a handball allowed Paolo Guerrero to score from the spot.

Brazil were back in from minutes into the second half when Gabriel Jesus scored, before his sending off midway through the second half turned things in Peru’s favour.

However, a late Richarlison penalty sealed the game for the Brazilians and ensured Copa America success on home soil. Here are four things we learned from the game:
