Everton Soares has undoubtedly used this tournament to put himself in the limelight. After a disappointing few games, he was back at his best here.

The young forward tormented Peru throughout this game. His direct running and skills left them lost and caused all sorts of problems.

Indeed, it was his willingness to drive and create issues that led to the late penalty and comfortable win.

Everton’s style of play is one that Brazil fans want to see. He delivered for Tite once again here and will likely find many big clubs in Europe chasing him this summer.
