It’s been a mixed international for the big sides so far. England, Belgium and France all put in impressive performances to being their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

The Netherlands impressed with a 4-0 win over Belarus but then suffered defeat at the hands of Germany on Sunday. Germany, meanwhile, were unimpressive in their draw with Serbia but looked far better in the win over the Dutch.

At the other end of the scale, Spain and Italy were less than impressive with narrow wins over Norway and Finland while Croatia barely beat Azerbaijan and then suffered defeat to Hungary.

If you were looking to make any early assessments of the big international teams, this break might not be the one to do it in.
