Newcastle United picked up a massive result on Friday evening as they beat Leicester City at the KingPower Stadium.

A superb finish from Ayoze Perez over the top of Kasper Schmeichel ensured Newcastle took all three points against Leicester.

Emery explains Arsenal selection

The Arsenal coach decided to make seven changes to the team that defeated Napoli in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday.

Perez rose highest to meet a cross, flicking the ball past the Foxes goalkeeper for the only goal of the game.

Leicester had chances to get back into the game, with Jamie Vardy, in particular, missing a glorious chance to level the scores. Newcastle held out, though, picking up a vital win. Here’s what we learned from the game:
