If there’s any manager in the Premier League who is hugely underrated, it’s Rafa Benitez. The Spaniard is up there with the best in the league.

He has a track record of winning things around the world, having turned Valencia, Liverpool and Napoli into a force in the past.

Donovan talks about how hard was for him to leave Everton

The American footballer joined the Blues on January 2010, but he only played 13 matches before returning to LA Galaxy.

The work he is now doing at Newcastle is stupendous. He showed in this game that he can out-tactic any other manager in the league.

The Magpies were brilliantly set up to counter Leicester, nullifying their threat and having enough to cause problems at the other end. Benitez remains a man who is working miracles with what’s at his disposal.
