Leicester will be ruing their missed opportunity when it comes to this game. A win could have gone a long way to them grasping seventh place.

Instead, defeat means they remain on 47 points, the same as Wolves behind them. Everton and Watford sit just a point behind those two.

Schurrle wishes he could stay at Fulham

The Germany international will leave the team after they were relegated to the English Championship for the next season.

The Blues have a game in hand while Wolves and Watford both have two after their FA Cup exertions.

The Foxes could have taken command in the race for seventh place, but instead, it’s now wide open. Like the race for the title and fourth place, it’s a battle that’s likely to go down to the wire.
