Kane steps up

Given his derby day heroics in the past, this will go down as a nondescript showing from Harry Kane.

For most of the game, the England striker engaged in a battle with the Arsenal centre backs. It was a successful tactic from the Gunners to take him out the game.

Frank Lampard, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Premier League

Lampard: “Chelsea are moving in the right direction”

Frank Lampard was a proud manager after Chelsea's 1-0 win over Newcastle United moved them into the Premier League top-four.

His concentration did not wander, though. When the moment came for him to convert from the spot, he did just that.

The penalty may have been a contentious one, but he put it away nonetheless. When Spurs need Kane, he consistently steps up.
