Napoli crisis looks to be getting bigger with each passing day. Yesterday’s defeat to Bologna won’t help the issue as the club is at the crossroad.
After a fallout with the board, Napoli players saw their two-week wages cut.
Even though Carlo Ancelotti was on the players’ side, he called them out after a poor performance yesterday.
“It’s not a problem of tactics, more of an attitude problem. Three days ago we showed great solidity against Liverpool, and we played with three midfielders,” he said, as quoted by Daily Mail.
The team is falling behind in the Champions League spots race. Azzuri are already eight points behind the fourth-placed Roma.
Things will have to change quickly at Napoli. Despite the Champions League success, Ancelotti can’t seem to find consistency with his dissatisfied squad.
