Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti feels like Napoli’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis is “one of the few presidents who respect my work.”
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has managed the biggest names in football: AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.
But now in Napoli, he feels well-respected as he loves working alongside president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
“De Laurentiis is one of the few Presidents who respects my work,” Ancelotti was quoted by Football Italia.
“He asks for information on what’s happening but never tries to give his opinion on what choices I should make. He likes to listen and be informed, but that’s where it ends.”
“De Laurentiis is also a great businessman because he wants a healthy, well-run club,” he added.
“Of course I’d sign Ibra. He’d have to give us a discount, though. In fact, maybe play for free.”
But Ancelotti only has one problem with the Italian Lega Serie A: “The problem here is that violence, insults, these are all considered part of our football and it’s not like that elsewhere. We need to modernize.”
“There are probably those in Italy who still consider it to be normal, but I can assure you it is no longer normal anywhere else.”
