Andre Gomes has been released from hospital after the surgery to repair his dislocated foot
In the last match between Everton and Tottenham, Andre Gomes suffered a devastating injury that put his teammates in shock. The midfielder faced a fierce tackle from Son which threw him on the ground crying for help.
Seamus Coleman brought a group of Everton players into the Spurs dressing room to console a distraught Son Heung Min after his tackle on Andre Gomes.
Coleman sat with him and told him it wasn't his fault.

As a result, the midfielder was quickly rushed to the hospital by the medical staff. Reports claimed that Gomes has suffered from a fracture dislocation on his right ankle.
But Everton released a statement that cleared Andre Gomes from any serious issues. The report read:
“Everton Football Club can confirm Andre Gomes underwent surgery to repair a fracture dislocation to his right ankle earlier today and the procedure went extremely well.
Andre will now spend some time recovering in hospital, before returning to use Finch Farm to start his rehabilitation under the guidance of the club’s medical staff. He is expected to make a full recovery.”
