Following Porto’s heavy loss with 5-0 against Liverpool and Sadio Mane’s hat-trick, Andy Robertson has shared his recognition for him.
Mane was able to net in three goals against Porto during their first-leg of the last-16 round in the Champions League, helping them to a huge win, which Robertson described as “perfect”, according to SkySports. Despite his impressive feat, he would have left the match ball, which is known to be taken as a souvenir, but it was Robertson that helped.
“I had to go running after the ball boy for his ball at the end – he was nearly upset! Luckily, I managed to get it.”
They were three class finishes from him. Mo and Bobby have stolen the headlines in the last couple of weeks, but Sadio is on my side [of the pitch] and he is a workhouse, he works so hard.”
This was just the second time Porto, the current Portuguese league leaders, have lost at home. Robertson shared he was satisfied with the way they silenced the crowd.
