According to the former Real Betis striker, Barcelona’s wonderkid Ansu Fati is still very young and he doesn’t need to be pressured like an adult.
The Guinea-Bissau-born player was part of three young systems: Herrera, Sevilla, and Barcelona.
And it was with the Blaugrana where he got his big break after the debuted during this campaign.
This is why former Real Betis striker and current La Liga ambassador, Denilson de Oliveira, had to remind everyone that Fati is still a kid.
“I’m more worried than excited by Ansu Fait’s explosion into football,” the ex-forward said according to Sport in English.
“He’s 16 years old and knows about this but… I’m worried he’ll get attacked and people will forget he’s just a kid.”
The former player explained: “Rushing is never good and you can’t burn through the stages.”
“After a great start, there are going to be bad moments and poor performances.”
“You need to see how they manage that situation, how they work with him and his entourage because it’s never easy at that age,” he concluded.
It wasn’t the first time against Osasuna 😏
