Alphonse Areola has claimed that Real Madrid are focused on their match against Club Brugge.
Real Madrid will travel to Camp Nou next week to face Barcelona. La Liga will witness its biggest spectacle as both the giants go head to head to fight for the league title.
But Real Madrid goalkeeper Alphonse Areola believes his team does not have El Clasico in their minds. Areola, who is on loan from PSG, has suggested that Los Blancos are determined to beat Club Brugge on their upcoming Champions League fixture.
The goalkeeper, however, suggested that they have to be careful against thier opponents as they have caused problems for his team in the reverse tie.
“The truth is that we don’t have [the Clasico] in our head yet,” Alphonse Areola said at a press conference as per Marca.
“We are only thinking about tomorrow’s game [against Club Brugge]. We have to win because it is a Champions League game. The rest we will see later.
“Club Brugge are a very offensive team. In Madrid, they put us in difficulties from the beginning and they scored very early.
“We have to start the game well and take our revenge. We are very motivated. Even if there is not much on the line. We want to win the game and nothing else.”
