Apart from being engaged in the Premier League battle this weekend, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to face-off in the transfer market next January

Ever since he broke into the TSG Hoffenheim’s first-team squad, Nadiem Amiri has demonstrated his enormous potential nailing down the attacking-midfielder position as his own.

His impressive displays in the Bundesliga have attracted the interest of many major European sides, including Arsenal and Tottenham.

According to The Sun, the Premier League giants are eager to lure the £15m-rated German playmaker away from the Bundesliga.

BREAKING: Mkhitaryan will miss the Europa League Final

The Armenian footballer will not travel to Azerbaijan for the final between Arsenal and Chelsea at the end of May.

While the Gunners look to find a long-term replacement for the outgoing Aaron Ramsey, the Spurs are trying to reinforce their flimsy midfield.

No timeline for a potential deal was mentioned although it seems a concrete move would likely take place next summer.

The highly-rated German talent has collected 101 top-flight outings for Hoffenheim during which has scored ten goals and contributed 11 assists.
