More bad news for Arsenal on the injury front as defender Kieran Tierney is ruled out for up to three months.

Freddie Ljungberg and Arsenal’s injury woes are getting worse.

Kieran Tierney had to leave the game against West Ham at the weekend, with what appeared to be shoulder pain.

Speaking after the West ham victory Ljungberg confirmed that Tierney was now on an ever-growing list of injured players.

He said:

“Tierney, I think it’s something with his shoulder but I don’t know exactly what it is.”

“But obviously we had to take him off so I think he’s going to maybe go to the hospital and check what it is.”

An arsenal.com statement has since confirmed the specifics:

“Right shoulder. Dislocated right shoulder during the West Ham United (a) match.”

“Currently undergoing further assessment and investigations.”

Sources close to the club suggest a three-month timeline is expected for recovery.

Tierney now joins a long list of other first-teamers who are expected to be unavailable for selection.
