With impressive performances from the youngsters, Arsenal went to Germany and defeated Eintracht Frankfurt in their ground.
Even though Unai Emery was going through a rough week at Arsenal, the Spanish manager pulled through with a convincing victory against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The gaffer is playing his absolutely favorite competition, he won titles with Sevilla and reached last season’s final with the Gunners.
Obviously, the plan is to reach another final this season and give the youngsters a chance to shine.
With that in mind, the attacking line only had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang accompanied by three very young players with a bright future ahead of them.
As a playmaker right behind Auba, Emery used young Joseph Willock, he also used Smith Rowe as the right-winger, and sensation Bukayo Saka on the left.
We received quite the performance from all these lads, who provided two assists and scored a goal in German soil.
Emery has another great option from this teenager whenever he wants to use somebody different or one of his stars gets injured.
The first goal came during the first half right after striker Bast Dost missed a clear chance during a corner-kick, his header went slightly wide.
In the following counter-attack, Saka set Willock up to score the winning goal and the playmaker got help from the defense.
His shot got slightly deviated, this helped him get the goalkeeper confused.
That moment! That feeling! 💥😊

The rest of the first half gave us an Eintracht Frankfurt side trying to get back in the game, but their many chances were either missed or stopped by the Gunners’ defense.
Dost was incredibly unlucky in front of goal, he had at least three more chances but he either missed them by inches or Damian Martinez saved them.
The same result remained like this until the final 10 minutes of the match, but there were another two goals still left to watch.
Young Bukayo Saka left his mark with a ridiculous long-range shot that Trapp simply wasn’t able to save, this was the 2-0 result and Arsenal had the three points in the bag.
The youngster still had some time to provide yet another assist to Aubameyang during the final minutes. The Gabon international scored his goal and went to celebrate with the youngster.
This debut performance from Saka proves that Unai Emery still has a few aces up his sleeve, he may start using some of the youngsters a little more during this season.
With this win, the Gunners take the lead in Group F. This is arguably one of the most complicated sectors of the competition, as the English club shares it with the Germans, Standard Liege, and Vitoria Guimaraes.
The Belgian club defeated the squad from Portugal 2-0, they will visit from Arsenal in the second fixture.
