Kieran Tierney could be on the move from Celtic this summer after reports emerging that Unai Emery’s side are keen on a new left-back.
Unai Emery has identified Kieran Tierney as the man he wants to operate down the left flank this season. The youngster has been in fine form for the Bhoys in the last three seasons and could be looking for a move to England.
Indeed, the youngster is considered one of the rising stars in the Scottish Premier League. The Scotland international is definitely going to be a shrewd accusation keeping in mind his age and potential for further development.
Without Champions League football, Arsenal do not expect any financial windfall from UEFA. For this reason, Unai Emery has been forced to be clever in the transfer market. The club is not in a position to spend unlike Manchester United who also don’t feature in the Champions League next season.
Kieran Tierney is under contract at the Glasgow club until 2023 so the Gunners will have to dig deep in their coffers to sign the youngster. Daily Mail claims that Arsenal are already moving ahead with things and could be set to table an offer soon.
Tierney on the other hand, has said many times that he wants to become a great one-club men. However, it all might change keeping in mind how things changed for Andy Robertson when he left Scotland for England. And the young full back would want to emulate his fellow countryman as well.
The youngster, if he decides to leave in favor of Arsenal, would also miss out on an opportunity to play in the Champions League next season.
