Bacary Sagna spent seven years at Arsenal, making more than 200 appearances under Arsene Wenger in the process.
Arsenal look completely lost in recent days.
After sacking Unai Emery, the club hasn’t been able to find his replacement.
However, an issue is that they don’t allow the caretaker manager, Freddie Ljungberg, to bring in his assistants.
The club got caught in-between, and Bacary Sagna hates it.
Before the Manchester City clash, he called the whole situation at the club “a circus”, according to Mundo Deportivo.
He then proceeded to explain his opinion.
“Unless you have someone in mind, you shouldn’t be firing a manager without having a replacement.
“To me it has been a lot of time, potentially 12 points they could have had and they didn’t,” he said, as quoted by Daily Mail.
Sagna then continued, offering his solution to the problem:
“They got rid of Unai Emery and didn’t have a plan. It’s a big mess. They need to find the right manager. Carlo Ancelotti?
“He’s well respected in the world of football and can bring something to the club.
“He has the Italian touch, so will be working a lot tactically and defensively. The players need some love.”
The situation for the Gunners seems to be getting worse by the day.
Everyone is attacking the club, and rightfully so. It remains to be seen how the board handles this delicate situation.
