Patrick Vieira has insisted that he is happy OGC Nice and has no intention of joining Arsenal.
Arsenal is keeping tabs on several managers across Europe as Freddie Ljungberg takes his time to settle in his new position at the club. Mikel Arteta, Patrick Vieira, and Maximilliano Allegri are the top contenders to take charge at the Emirates.
Recently, one of the shortlisted managers hinted that he is not interested in the Arsenal job. Patrick Vieira, who also captained Arsenal in the past, said that he was happy at OGC Nice and is in no hurry to quit his job.
The 43-year old revealed that although he misses his former club, he had an ongoing project in France. Moreover, he also insisted that he wanted to succeed with his current club.
“You know, a club that you spend 9 years in, cannot leave you unmoved,” Vieira told as per Daily Mail.
“But sincerely and honestly, I am concentrated on in this project with OGC Nice. I have always said it and I repeat it again for you now, I feel very good here.
“It is a truly very exciting project. And I want to succeed in this project,” the former Arsenal midfielder insisted.
