Robert Pires has backed Unai Emery but feels that he might not have enough time.

Unai Emery is someone who seems to have no control over his team’s performance. Ever since the Spaniard took charge, Arsenal has only gone downwards. In the last seven matches, the Gunners have only won once. Moreover, they have conceded more goals than they have scored in the Premier League this season.

Former Arsenal player Robert Pires believes that both Unai Emery and his team are going through tough times. The two-time Premier League winner also highlighted Emery’s success at his previous clubs. Nevertheless, Pires suggested that the Arsenal boss might not have enough time to replicate his glory days.

“Everybody knows at Arsenal, even Unai Emery, that they are in big trouble,” Robert Pires was quoted by Express.

“But [Emery] is a competitor, he knows the high level. He was a great manager with Sevilla, with Paris Saint-Germain, but the situation is not so good.

“He is a good manager, I think he will make a success with Arsenal. I hope for him anyway.

“The situation isn’t so good, but him and the players need to find the solution,” the former Arsenal forward demanded.
